This month has been slow going as far as written work....that doesn't mean the learning has stopped.... quite the opposite. My children having all taken quite a loving interest in baking and cooking these days. The all love making Momma's Fluffy Yogurt Pancakes, learning how to bake cup cakes and helping all around with dinners. Also we have taken this month for a lot more Bible reading, worship and family love. We had lots of visitors and changes going on. We got a new Kitty, which has become Melodey's responsibility.... along with Momma. Daddy has gone on a couple of business trips, which is new and different for us. So with that and all the people in and out this month, I decided to take it slow.
With our time off, we have gotten ready for some big things for the rest of the year. I am starting a choir for the Homeschool group and for church, so those both should be a lot of fun. We are planning on going to the pumpkin patch with the homeschool group this October. In November we have more family coming and December brings on Christmas. And you know me.... I love to spend all of Advent diving into God's word with the children. Discovering, with them, the excitement of God great gift for us.
We also are planning a geography fair in February. We have been working on the states for some time now and we are going to do a big project involving all 50 states :O) Should be a lot of fun!
I am planning a Zoo Scavenger hunt for the spring time for the Homeschool group too!
So, what are ya'll up to these days?
