I love those educational DVDs out there! My kids are sick, I am sick and I think the dog may actually have the cold too :) She is sneezing like crazy today :)
So this morning we watched the PBS cartoons and shows and then we read a bit, but my voice is almost all gone! So we are watching Little Einsteins today. I love that one, music, science, vocabulary plus fun! Can't go wrong there! After watching the butterfly one, they have decided our next science kit should be a butterfly kit :) I love those science kits. Right now we have a Venus Fly Trap that is growing and now an Ant Farm. I have a tadpole to frog tank that we need to order eggs for. So much fun seeing how everything grows :) It is a great way to show how God has created animals and plants and a way to see that He made each one so different in their own ways.
Homeschooling is nice, not worrying if we gave this to someone else before they had to not go to school and having all the stuff here for when they are feeling better but still sick!
Here to help teach our children the true meaning of worship... Living for and Loving Jesus!

Today was so fun!
Today Kelly Jo, mother of 10, came over and we homeschooled 6 of them together. We had lots of fun splitting them into the ages and doing different activities together. We had 1 preschooler, 2 kindergarteners, 2 first graders and a 2nd grader. We had a great time and are going to start planning fun activities for us to do on Mondays together :) The Park, beach, bowling and other fun field trips :) Thanks Kelly Jo! We had a great time!

What are we doing?
I am going to use this Blog to try and gather those around here for a homeschool group! I would like to plan activities and parties for the kids, be here to encourage each other, help our children learn the true meaning of worship... Loving Jesus is everything they do.
